In Algebra II we take the foundation of Algebra that we learned and expand upon them.  We start from quadratic functions and show the necessity of them, using them to solve numerous real world problems.  We also look at polynomial, rational, and exponential functions as well.  Students see in this class that there a number of ways that we can use Math in real life, and not just to find X!

Geometry is unlike any other math class you may have taken before.  Geometry challenges students to think logically with the introduction to the idea of a proof.  It also allows those who are visual learners the ability to really dive into that side of their creativity with the ability to calculate area, volume, and surface area of two- and three-dimensional objects.

Pre-Calculus

Pre-Calculus is the a combination of Algebra 2 concepts and the introduction of Trigonometry.  We are relating algebraic concepts and geometric concepts and introducing the idea of Calculus to them.

This course is necesarry for students who plan to take a course in Calculus either in High School or in College.

Statistics & Probability

Statistics is a critical thinking course that includes the ability to do basic math facts.  It will require students to be able to analyze and interpret scores, numbers, and graphs.  Students who take Statistics will more than likely go to college to major business, social sciences, or a research field.

Integrated Math

Integrated Math is designed to take concepts from Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Math and apply them to every day applications.  Students will be required to analyze and critically think about solutions and possible mistakes, and alternatves that would be more relevant to the situation.
